L’origen de Science Queers: el Tango del peix

Quan la llegenda travesti Joan Oh es va mudar a Barcelona l’estiu del 2016, la Lana li va demanar que li ensenyés l’art del transformisme per a un projecte que s’havia plantejat durant un temps.

Amb una estètica de travesti principiant, però tot el poder escènic, el Tango del peix es va estrenar a Brusseles el 25 de gener del 2017 a la conferència final del projecte ECsafeSEAFOOD amb membres de la indústria, autoritats i organitzacions de seguretat alimentària, associacions de consumidors i la comunitat científica.

Aquell mateix any, el Tango del peix es va presentar a la sessió Science Slam de SETAC Europe 2017, també a Brusseles, i a Nowhere, la versió espanyola del Burning Man al desert dels Monegres.

When drag legend Joan Oh moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2016, Lana asked Joan to teach her the art of drag for a project she had been considering for a while.

With a drag baby look, but all the stage power, the Seafood Tango premiered in Brussels on the 25th of January of 2017 at the final conference of the ECsafeSEAFOOD project attended by members of the industry, food safety organisations and authorities, consumer associations and the scientific community.

That same year, the Seafood Tango was performed at the Science Slam session of SETAC Europe 2017, also in Brussels, and at Nowhere, the Spanish version of Burning Man at the Monegros desert.
