Tutorial de maquillatge travesti: el gas butà

Tothom ha utilitzat el butà alguna vegada, o el butaner… Però això que sona tan sexy només és una cadena d’àtoms de carboni rodejada per àtoms d’hidrogen: CH₃CH₂CH₂CH₃.

El butà és de la família dels alcans, que tenen diferents noms segons la llargada de la cadena: metà (CH₄), età (CH₃CH₃), propà (CH₃CH₂CH₃), butà, pentà, hexà, heptà, octà… I la Lana ens ho explica mentre es maquilla.

Els quatre primers alcans, fins al butà, són gasos a temperatura ambient i pressió atmosfèrica. A partir del pentà els alcans són líquids fins als 17 àtoms de carboni. I a partir dels 18, són sòlids!

Butane belongs to the family of alkanes, which have different names according to the chain length: methane (CH₄), ethane (CH₃CH₃), propane (CH₃CH₂CH₃), butane, pentane, hexane, heptane, octane… And Lana tells us about it as she does her makeup.

The first four alkanes, up to butane, are gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. From pentane and up to 17 carbon atoms, they are liquid. And over 18 carbon atoms, they are solid!
